Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury international hospitality management group and member of Dubai Holding, has extensive expansion plans to grow its portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts into key gateway or letterhead cities and aspirational resort destinations worldwide. Currently, the Group has several luxury five-star properties under development, including five in Dubai and others in Abu Dhabi, Aqaba, Doha, Phuket, Mallorca and London, among others.
The Group plans to expand to sponsorship as a marketing discipline and already supports golf, tennis, horse racing and the Dubai International Film Festival. Its challenge is to harness sponsorship to aid its growth around the world.
In 2007 Revolution was appointed by Jumeirah Group to develop a world wide sponsorship strategy that will be implemented at Board level and will remain relevant for the next five years.
